UIHC – Roy J. Carver Pavilion – Pathology Core Lab Expansion – 6RCP

The project consists of enclosing a portion of the existing light court in the Carver Pavilion, constructing a new mechanical penthouse on Level 8, and renovating the 6th Floor Pathology Core Laboratory. Work included structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior improvements completed under strict infection control protocols within the active hospital. Two air handling units above the lab were replaced to enhance system performance and efficiency. Crane operations near the hospital entrance were carefully planned and executed within approved time and safety parameters.
