The Goschke Family Wrestling Training Center

Advancing Elite Training Through a Purpose-Built Wrestling Facility

The Goschke Family Wrestling Training Center serves as the new home for the University of Iowa’s men’s and women’s wrestling programs. Located south of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the facility is connected by an underground tunnel that provides direct access between training and competition spaces. The two-story wrestling room features expanded mat space and soaring ceilings, supported by dedicated training, recovery, and team support areas. Built with durable materials and high-performance systems, the facility supports elite training while celebrating Iowa’s wrestling tradition.
