ALPLA Learning & Development (L&D) Hub, North America

The project consists of building and site construction for a new Learning and Development Hub at the existing ALPLA plant in Iowa City, Iowa. The site is located between the existing IOW1 and IOW2 buildings.

The new single-story facility will be divided into a production area and a classroom/learning area and will serve as an apprenticeship and training center for ALPLA employees. This facility will be the first of its kind in North America.

The building is just over 35,000 square feet and features a metal architectural panel exterior. The interior structure consists of structural steel with light-gauge steel infill. Interior furnishings and production equipment will be provided by the owner.
